Courses in "How to Write a Competitive Proposal for Horizon 2020" and "Getting Ready for Horizon Europe" with Dr. Sean McCarthy (Hyperion Ltd.) were held at Palacký University in Olomouc.
The Czech Science Foundation will support our project 19-23033S “Improving sensitivity in chiral separations by capillary electrophoresis connected with ESI-MS or ICP-MS”. The aim of the project is to contribute to fundamental developments in the field of online preconcentrations for chiral separations by CE-ESI-MS and CE-ICP-MS.
Our Talanta paper has finally been published: P. Švecová, J. Petr, Separation of cetirizine enantiomers by capillary electrophoresis with a dual selector system based on borate-glucose complexes and sulfated-β-cyclodextrin. Talanta 198 (2019) 154-158.
The Czech Science Foundation project "Characterization of nanoparticles by capillary electrophoresis" finished successfully after three years.

Jan Petr presented the lecture, “Capillary electrophoresis with inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry: A tool for the future?” at the 8th Annual Conference of RCPTM in Mikulov, Czech Republic.
A delegation from the South Korean Embassy in Prague visited the lab and discussed our cooperation with the Korea Institute of Science and Technology in Europe in Saarbrücken, Germany.
The 3D printer TRILAB DeltiX Mini has been successfully installed in our lab.
Daniel Baron and Jan Petr presented the lectures “The use of ICP-MS as a detector for capillary electrophoresis” and “Characterization of nanomaterials by capillary electrophoresis” at the 70th Congress of the Czech and Slovak Chemical Societies in Zlín, Czech Republic.
